Two men have been charged following a luggage theft where a suspected pepper spray caused injuries at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A young child was one of the people hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to a medical facility and were subsequently released.

The incident – which authorities stated was not part of a series and deemed non-terroristic – resulted in disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
